Do you want to know what Maurizio loves about coffee? Exactly what this coffee’s sensory profile conveys. He describes it simply: wowwwww! If he could, he’d drink coffee like this for the rest of his life. Are you wondering why? Because when you ask someone what they look for in coffee, the answer is: His Majesty, Sweetness.

So, to describe this sweet flavor to a beginner, the first step to understanding it is to have them taste this coffee.

The sweetness is nothing short of insane—bordering on the illegal. If you don’t believe us, you’ll just have to try it for yourself. I’m absolutely convinced you’ll place another order.

Let’s start with the notes you’ll find in the aroma: it’s like being in a field of flowers, where osmanthus, rose, and jasmine are the main stars of this coffee. Total elegance!!!!

The initial taste note is a burst of acidity reminiscent of a citrus fruit—specifically, lemon. This then evolves into an impressive sweetness of ripe fruit, evoking the sensation of white peach—so much so that it could trick your mind into thinking you’re drinking peach juice. This is even more pronounced when brewed using the pour-over method.

Medium body and a decidedly juicy, silky mouthfeel. The surprising final note of tea leaves your mouth feeling incredibly clean and fresh.

I never would have expected a Peruvian Gesha with such elegance and floral notes, featuring decidedly interesting and pronounced flavors that deliver a unique and distinctive sensory experience—one to try and savor. We’re simply in love with it.

P.S.: In a Brewers competition, this coffee would truly stand out for its surprising notes of refinement, elegance, sweetness, and silkiness. There is absolutely no bitterness.
