The coffee everyone dreams of in a cup: a variety you wouldn’t expect to offer such sensory delights—but above all, because of the terroir where it was grown. We’re talking about a Chiroso Panama!
A coffee that highlights typically exotic fruity notes, where sweetness overwhelmingly prevails over the other flavors on our taste buds.
That’s right, folks: elegance, delicacy, and purity are the most fitting adjectives to describe this wonderful coffee, which we selected and which was also used by our very own Federico Pinna at the World Barista Championship in Panama, where he put us in the spotlight by achieving a highly prestigious result: seventh in the world. The coffee was used in milk-based drinks and espresso-based beverages.
The initial acidity is sparkling and lively, reminiscent of yellow fruit, particularly a note of mango, an exotic fruit. It then evolves on the palate into an incredible sweetness, always tied to fruity notes of papaya and ripe pineapple. Without a doubt, the color yellow is the undisputed star of this coffee.
The finish is decidedly elegant and clean, with an incredibly elegant and refined floral note of rose. Bitterness? Ahhhh, what a cliché answer! It’s absolutely minimal, reminiscent of the bitterness of a citrus fruit: grapefruit!
As for the direct olfactory profile, only floral sensations reminiscent of jasmine stand out, though technically they should be associated with the actual coffee flower.
Folks, what can I say: floral notes and fruity hints, acidity and sweetness. What more could you want in a cup of coffee? Because always remember that investing your money in a sensory experience helps you grow more and more and experience unforgettable and unique emotions in life.
As I always say, life is too short to drink mediocre coffee.
