From October 22 to 25, Federico Pinna, the 2024 and 2026 Italian Barista Champion, will represent Italy at the World Barista Championship in Panama City.

On October 11 and 12, we attended the WeCoffeeClub event at Combo Milano, alongside some of Italy’s most interesting specialty coffee roasters. It was two days of tastings, masterclasses, and discussions with the community, featuring a talk by Maurizio Valli on the role of coffee in contemporary dining.

At the SCA Italian Championships at SIGEP 2026, Team Bugan claimed two titles: Federico Pinna was crowned Italian Barista Champion once again, following his 2024 victory, and Francesco Stabile won the Cezve/Ibrik competition on his debut. Maurizio Boi took second place in the Latte Art competition.
