The Las Mercedes farm, located in San Rafael in the Jinotega region, covers an area of 49 hectares. It is run by Pascual Osegueda, a fourth-generation coffee producer, along with his wife and children. Their extensive experience in this field translates into an extraordinary balance in the cup: from a flavor perspective, there is a truly remarkable synergy and harmony between acidity, sweetness, and bitterness.
The initial acidity evokes notes of orange zest; as the flavor evolves on the palate, it shifts toward sweetness, revealing hints of almond, honey, and dried fruits such as apricot. The finish is slightly bitter, with notes of dark chocolate: a pleasant and desirable sensation, guaranteed to create a “wow” effect in the cup. Medium body.
A coffee you could drink all day long, especially perfect for this time of year, when notes of brown sugar offer a precious treat for both body and spirit.
Our hearts need warming, and here is the perfect coffee to satisfy that need.
