Bugan Manifesto
A way of understanding coffee that is rooted in passion, research, and a shared vision—one that defines who we are and where we want to go.
01
We select only the specialty coffees that truly impress us—coffees we discover directly on the plantations, each rich in history and run by people who share our passion for coffee.
02
Great coffee isn't enough—you have to treat it well every day. We calibrate, taste, and adjust, cup after cup, because quality isn't something you achieve once and for all.
03
The differences between one coffee and another can only be appreciated in the cup. That’s why we hold cupping sessions, tastings, and classes: to train our palates—and yours.
04
The months spent on the plantation, the days of rest after roasting, the seconds of extraction. Every coffee has its own timing, and we respect it.
05
A good cup of coffee deserves a few minutes of your attention: that's when you discover aromas and flavors you'd never notice if you were in a hurry.
06
Behind every cup of coffee lies a country, an altitude, and a family that grows it. Our job is to let you experience that, sip by sip.
07
What we learn on the plantation, at the roastery, and in competitions, we bring to our classes, coffee shops, and the stories we share behind the counter. The more people understand coffee, the better coffee becomes.
08
From the producer to the roaster, from the barista to the drinker: every step counts. And none of our achievements came about on its own.
09
Those who grow coffee, those who work with us, those who visit our shops. Coffee is the means; people are the reason.
10
Better one extraordinary cup of coffee than three ordinary ones. Choose quality, and the rest will follow.
