The Chemex is a tool that looks like an hourglass-shaped glass carafe with a handle consisting of a wooden ring. Thanks to the Chemex, it is possible to prepare excellent filter coffee.
Place the disposable paper filter in the dedicated space, then wet it with well-warm water to remove the cellulose taste and heat the Chemex.
After heating, remove the serving water, add the ground coffee to the filter and pour in the previously heated water.
You are in the preinfusion stage, at which point you can wet the entire coffee bed. Next you pour in the rest of the necessary water in continuous circular motions, taking care never to wet the paper.
When the extraction is finished, you can remove the paper filter and serve your coffee.
