CHIROSO VITA 3 - COLOMBIA - COMPETITION LOTS

All I can say is wow! Yes, folks, why? Simply because this coffee embodies the idea that has changed the world of coffee—or rather, that has brought two worlds together for the first time in the history of coffee. We’re talking about the world’s first experiment where our Italian champion, Daniele Ricci, in collaboration with the “Las Flores” farm, conceived and developed a new processing method: adding wine yeast—specifically from the famous Monterossa winery in the Franciacorta region—to the pulp of our coffee cherries.

If I could, I would drink coffee like this for the rest of my life. Are you wondering why? Because if I had to describe the sweet taste to a beginner, I would have them taste this coffee. The sweetness is nothing short of insane, bordering on the illegal—if you don’t believe us, you just have to try it for yourself. I am absolutely convinced you will place another order.

It has an initial taste note of acidity reminiscent of blackberry and pineapple. It then evolves into an impressive sweetness of ripe fruit, evoking the sensation of cherry and ripe guava so strongly that it can confuse the mind, creating the perception of being in the presence of a fruit extract. This is even more evident when brewed using the espresso method. Medium-to-high body, excellent structure, and a decidedly juicy, syrupy mouthfeel. The final note of mint is also surprising, leaving your mouth feeling incredibly clean and fresh.

A true competition lot with decidedly interesting and distinct flavors that deliver a unique and different sensory experience—one to try and savor. I’m simply in love!

This coffee stems from the same spirit as Chiroso Vita 1, but with an evolved processing method: in Vita 1, wine yeasts were added only during the must activation phase, while in Vita 3 they were also added during fermentation, resulting in completely new flavors.
And the best part? We have three Chiroso coffees with three different processing methods!
