TARRAZU #NATURAL – COSTA RICA

A wonderful Costa Rican coffee that takes you by surprise, with a distinct initial acidity—to say the least—that evokes the flavor of white grapes, and a good body are the main characteristics of this coffee. It then evolves into a sweetness with notes of brown sugar and caramel. The finish features a decidedly pleasant and desirable note of dark chocolate. A coffee definitely recommended for anyone who loves the white/brown tones in coffee, as it is very smooth and indulgent. The most surprising flavor in this coffee, which strongly evokes the sweet note, is the sensation of cinnamon—truly a “wow” factor for this Costa Rican. What a wonderful discovery! El Tirra is one of the lots from Hacienda Cafetalera, composed of members of the Coopetarrazu cooperative. With temperatures dropping and the imminent arrival of fall, this Costa Rican is definitely a great coffee.
